badlands festival

At the end of August this summer I decided to take a solo trip to the Lottum in the Netherlands to check out the newest and coolest festival in the land of the Windmills!
The Badlands Festival is the brainchild of Rene from Just FUBAR Motorcycles and his close friends Victor, Terry, Max, Jens, Elle and Jack! Inspired by 60’s and 70’s countercultures, Badlands is a combination of vintage choppers, custom vans, BMX, skateboarding, tattoos and a heavy dose of music! The vibe is mainly of a cool mini music festival with two stages covering genres ranging from Hard Rock, Latin Cumbia, Blues and Punk with upcoming local bands and acts from further afield including the US.
The organisers did a great job of creating a cool and chilled out vibe for all ages and people, this is certainly not your traditional chopper show, but an experience for all the family!
As usual I was on hand with a camera and captured a few digital shots whilst enjoying the vibe with the guys from the Fly by Knights Car Club who I hooked up with once there!
