Ghost Run 8th
August 22–23
Organizer: Junichi Yamaki
Location: Skypia Adatara

The Ghost Run is held around the last week of August every year. Initially, it was simply a short run with around 200 participants.
Starting with the 5th edition, the event could no longer be held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Subsequently, he was involved in a serious accident while riding his FL Pan chopper—an accident so severe that he hovered between life and death. Miraculously, however, he recovered to the point where his right leg was only slightly impaired, and he was able to ride his chopper again.

It was he who transformed the Ghost Run into a large-scale event for his friends and those who had encouraged him, giving rise to the Ghost Run as we know it today. The event has grown to attract over 2,500 participants.

The first day features the ride and a pre-event party, while the second day brings together numerous motorcycle shops and food and beverage vendors—totalling over 150 booths.

With late-night rides and awards ceremonies included,
it has become an event that brings together everyone from beginners to up-and-coming builders and industry legends.

On July 2, the year after next,
Ghost Run 10th will be held as a custom show.
They plan to bring the series to a close
with a spectacular event, similar to the Joints or Hot Rod Custom Shows.

I, Haruki, have been supporting Yamaki-kun
as the main photographer all along,
and I’ve also been helping out as a staff member!

I really hope
DEAN and SCOTT will come to the 10th anniversary event!
Yamaki, the organizer, is eagerly hoping for it too!
