The Highland Park Bowl opened its doors in 1927. Over the years it fell into disrepair and eventually became Mister Tees. A good music venue where all sorts of bands have played, some famous some not so but you always knew you were going to see and hear something interesting. The lanes were curtained off, a false ceiling was put in and the place had a run down sweaty type of appeal. When that closed down Bobby moved in to save the building from demolition and spent the best part of 2 years restoring it to its former glory with bars, bowling and food. And what a fantastic job he and his team have done. If are ever in LA I really recommend checking this place out. More info here
